Nike Zoom Uptempo 5
Nike Zoom Uptempo V (*originally Nike Zoom Flight V) basketball shoe debuts 1996 for 96-97 season.
Zoom Flight 5 is second Jason Kidd signature sneaker, the first with his logo as displayed on the tongue and heel*. It is memorable for using an iridescent midsole jewel and a turf trainer like outsole with nubs and concentric circles for traction. (*Retro releases during Kidd's time with Peak replace these with 'Nike Zoom' branding)
Zoom Uptempo 5 is a cult favorite in Japan and many releases following 2008 retros are Japanese exclusives.
