Brooks Sports, Inc. is an American sports performance brand focused on running.

Morris Goldenberg founded Brooks in Philadelphia in 1914, naming the company an Anglicized version of his wife's maiden name Bruchs.  The company began with bathing shoes in 1917, but today, they're owned by Warren Buffett's Birkshire Hathaway and are synonymous with serious running shoes.

Brooks brings back 1982's Chariot with a round of collaborations beginning late 2014, their first attempt to cross over to the sneaker world.
